Plaque for Edward of Middleham Unveiled
On Tuesday 8 September, the 543rd anniversary of his investiture as Prince of Wales, Edward of Middleham was remembered at a service in the Church of St Mary and St Alkelda in Middleham. Revd Jeff Payne officiated at the service and gave the address. Graham Mitchell, Chair of the Society and Philippa Langley, Fellow of the Society, both spoke in the service which was attended by about 45 to 50 people, including the Mayor of Middleham. With the unveiling of the plaque, Prince Edward is no longer ‘The Forgotten Prince’.
